Gelila Yonas

Gelila joined Issue One in September 2023 as a CRSM intern. Gelila is in her final semester at the College of William & Mary where she will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a minor in Public Health. Before joining Issue One, Gelila worked as a research assistant at AidData where she organized extensive datasets on unreported Chinese financial flows. She has also interned at the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command G-2, conducting data analysis and research for foreign policy. At W&M, Gelila served as the Undersecretary of Diversity Training and Programming and Vice President of Recruitment for Kappa Alpha Theta.
