Hayden Coss

Legislative Intern


Hayden Coss joined Issue One as a legislative intern in June 2022. He is a rising senior at The University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Economics and Political Science. He has previously interned with State Representative Shelia Stubbs, representing Wisconsin’s 77th district. Currently, He is a research assistant with UW-Madison’s Department of Political Science, studying the impact campaign finance laws have on State Supreme Court coalition building. In his free time, Hayden is involved with Alpha Gamma Rho, a professional fraternity that aims to make better men through the scope of agriculture, serving as their current President and former Philanthropy and Public Relations Chair. Hayden is also heavily involved in other organizations on campus ranging from The University recognized Speech and Debate team to The French Club. After graduating, he hopes to take a gap year through the French TAPIF program and eventually apply to law school to achieve his dream of becoming a lawyer.
