Jamila Taylor

Senior Development Manager


Jamila has over 15 years of experience supporting organizations of various sizes in developing unrestricted revenue strategies that leverage their internal skill and talent. She has experience creating revenue and development portfolios that include a mix of government, corporate, foundation, sales, and sponsorships. Prior to joining Issue One, Jamila launched an independent consulting agency providing project management, development, and grant writing services to small scale non-profit agencies across the country. Before this she served as the Associate Director of Development and Institutional Advancement for the National Center for Children and Families where she helped to launch two multi-million dollar projects to support the organization’s mission of creating healthy environments for children and families.

Jamila is an alumni of Howard University but received her bachelors from California University of Pennsylvania. She also studied Executive Business Management from Indiana University of PA.
