Julia Scully

Julia followed her passion for digital media and journalism to pursue a career of advocacy. Before joining Issue One, she worked to support global media development at the International Center for Journalists, coordinating opportunities for media professionals in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Julia’s work took her to interesting locales like Nairobi and Kathmandu, but the true impact resulted from strengthening the network of journalists across both culture and continents. She holds a master’s degree in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University.
