Kathryn Thomas

Research Intern


Kathryn Thomas is a senior at Duke University, graduating in May 2024, with a major in public policy, a certificate in human rights, and a minor in political science. She is passionate about voting rights policy, with a particular emphasis on youth political engagement. Kathryn spent two years researching the implications of absentee and provisional voting policies on North Carolina voters. At Duke University, Kathryn has served as the news editor for The Duke Chronicle, and she is a political engagement project fellow in the Hart Leadership Program.
