Communications and Research intern
Neha Upadhyaya joined Issue One as a communications and research intern in June 2022. She is a rising senior at California State University, Fullerton, where her academic focus is on political science, public administration, and international relations. She serves as the vice president of the United Nations Association at CSUF, as well as a Moot Court competitor, where she placed first at an AMCA Regional Competition. Neha also spearheads voter registration efforts at her school and advocates for student interests as a Lobby Corps Coordinator with Associated Students Inc. Additionally, Neha has interned at the district office of Rep. Lou Correa (D-CA), and she helped produce a webinar series to boost civic engagement as an intern with the Campus Election Engagement Project.
