Issue One remembers the life and legacy of General Colin Powell

In response to the passing of General Colin Powell, Issue One CEO and Founder Nick Penniman issued the following statement:

“General Colin Powell was a venerable statesman who leaves behind a lasting and remarkable legacy of service to the country and civic leadership. As the first Black chairman of the Joint Chiefs and Secretary of State, his barrier-breaking career embodied the full promise of the American dream, and his authority and stature earned him praise from leaders on both sides of the political aisle. I join with others in mourning his loss and offer my sincere condolences to his family, who loved him dearly. The world has lost a noble figure, and we will never forget his service to our nation.”
