Ethics expert and Issue One Chief of Policy, Programs and Strategy Meredith McGehee spoke with NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt about the appointment and potential conflicts of interest that Mr. Kushner faces.
Is there an argument for Mr. Kushner serving in the Trump White House? Yes. Often, the only people who tell it to politicians straight are their families. But he must avail himself of every means necessary to remove any potential or perceived conflicts of interest and immediately cease all activity with his own businesses.
