Senior Director of Advancement


Jamie Dillon, CFRE, is a seasoned nonprofit leader and fundraiser, currently serving as the senior director of advancement at Issue One. With over a decade of experience, Jamie specializes in institutional giving, donor engagement, and strategic philanthropy. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in crafting fundraising strategies that drive change in the U.S. and internationally.

At Issue One, Jamie works closely with donors, partners, and supporters to ensure their contributions lead to real, lasting change. Her leadership has expanded donor relationships and secured transformative funding that powers Issue One’s work to build a democracy that works for everyone. She is passionate about connecting people to the cause and ensuring supporters feel valued and engaged.

Before joining Issue One, Jamie served as the director of development for the Illinois Chapter of Mikva Challenge, supporting youth empowerment through civic education and leadership training.

Jamie’s career has also taken her abroad, where she managed a portfolio of humanitarian programs in Kenya, Somalia, and South Sudan. Her work focused on health, education, and food security, and she collaborated with major international organizations, including USAID and UNICEF, to support communities and implement sustainable development solutions.

Jamie holds a Master’s degree in International and European Politics from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor’s in Government and International Relations from Claremont McKenna College. She is also a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and a 2021 graduate of the Allstate Foundation Executive Leadership Program. Outside of her work, Jamie enjoys traveling adventurously and trying new cuisines.
