Lilly Weisz

Lilly Weisz (she/her) joined Issue One as an Advancement Intern in May 2025. She is a junior at Duke University, studying Political Science and Religious Studies, with a focus on how religion influences Western political philosophy. Lilly is passionate about community engagement, having served as president of her dorm for two years and currently working to improve Duke’s new residential college system. She is also committed to fostering dialogue between polarized groups; this year, she was part of a research team studying interreligious dialogue between Jews, Muslims, and Christians. Before joining Issue One, Lilly interned in the office of Congressman Jim Himes.
