Mike Piel

Mike Piel is a politics junkie who left Colorado to pursue his passion in D.C. After nearly a decade in campaign politics and political consulting, deeply involved in the partisan battlefield, he saw the limits of purely partisan work, and chose to pursue a career dedicated to democracy reform. He is driven by his core belief that a vote should be powerful, and that our elections should accurately reflect the voters.

Mike has more than 15 years of fundraising experience, raising money to support reform organizations including, The National Committee for an Effective Congress, The Center for Election Science, and the New Organizing Institute. He hails from Colorado where he earned a degree in political science from Colorado State University. He is currently seeking an MBA ispecializing in Marketing Data Analytics from the same institution.
