Nicole Lagace

Nicole joined Issue One in February 2023. She has over 20 years of experience managing strategic communications and developing issue campaigns in the nonprofit sector. Most recently, Nicole served as the Chief of Information and Senior Advisor to Rhode Island Secretary of State Nellie M. Gorbea where she developed innovative voter information campaigns aimed at increasing civic engagement and trust in elections. A lifelong New Englander, Nicole has a B.A. in journalism from St. Michael’s College in Vermont. She lives in Providence, RI, and enjoys photography, making music, and taking nature walks with her husband and daughter.
