Rebecca Dorsey

Rebecca Dorsey joined Issue One in June 2025 as an Election Protection Intern. Rebecca just graduated from UConn in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English, and will be completing the second year of her 4+1 MPA at UConn School of Public Policy in Spring 2026. Her passion for elections policy and civic engagement began as a poll worker during the 2020 election and led to her Outreach and Engagement Internship with the Office of the Connecticut Secretary of the State during the 2024-2025 academic year. Her favorite memory from that internship was watching the certification of Connecticut’s electoral votes in the State Capitol.
