Samantha Fitch

Samantha joined Issue One as a People and Culture Intern in June of 2025. Samantha (she/her) is a senior at American University, majoring in Political Science and a minor in Psychology. Before joining the Issue One team, Samantha did a semester abroad in London and interned at Growing Hope, a nonprofit that offers free therapy to children with special needs. She is co-president of the AU Adoptee Alliance which offers a safe space for anyone who has experience with the adoption/foster care system on her campus. Samantha has a deep interest in grassroots organization, social justice, and gender equality. She also enjoys running, crocheting, and traveling.
