Tarang Mishra

Tarang Mishra first joined Issue One as a communications intern in June 2024. He is a current fourth-year undergraduate student at James Madison University, pursuing a political science degree with a pre-law preparation program and a minor in entrepreneurship. He has previously served as policy fellow at Engine, program assistant at the U.S.-Asia Institute, and as a varsity debater on the James Madison University Debate Team.

With his entrepreneurial background and legislative advocacy experience, Tarang joined Issue One as a Culture and Finance Coordinator in October 2024, specializing in human resource management and creating positive change within the workplace. Outside of his work, Tarang enjoys coaching high school debaters to become effective policy advocates, and going to the gym consistently.
