Campaign Associate, Technology Reform
Wilhelmina Sabina Blake is a Campaign Associate at Issue One, leading state legislative policy initiatives for the Technology Reform Team. Along with the Tech Team, Willa drives bipartisan efforts to reform social media and improve online safety, working closely with lawmakers to advance meaningful tech policy. She also works to unite youth coalitions nationwide through relationship-building and collective action. Throughout her time at Issue One, Willa has led nearly ten virtual events with high-level messengers, coordinated Hill days and testimony on behalf of the Kids Code Coalition, and strengthened IO’s collaboration with the Design it For Us Coalition.
Before joining Issue One, Willa was the director of field operations for a winning New York State Assembly race, leading grassroots voter outreach, volunteer management, and community events. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Skidmore College, with a minor in Environmental Studies.
Outside work, Willa enjoys playing volleyball, practicing film photography, and attending comedy shows around the city.
