Adrián Carrasquillo Lecároz

Adrián Carrasquillo Lecároz is an enthusiastic professional in the democracy space and joined Issue One as our Citizen Engagement Associate in February 2026. He enjoys engaging communities across the US through legislative & electoral affairs, voter registration, policy consulting, and, more recently, depolarization through electoral transparency. Adrián comes to Issue One after supporting multiple domestic citizen election observation networks at The Carter Center’s Democracy Program since 2022. He’s an honors alum from Georgia State University where he studied comparative & international politics. In his free time, you can find Adrián biking around town, indoor rock climbing, reading a mystery book at the park, or cooking new recipes in his kitchen.
