Ellie Cowen

Ellie Cowen is an Issue One intern on the Project Management and Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (PMEL) track. In this role she works to strengthen the internal functioning of Issue One by developing systems to track progress, assess impact, and support organizational learning. She is committed to ensuring the strategic priorities of Issue One remain at the forefront of the team’s work.

Ellie graduated in May from Tulane University in New Orleans with degrees in English and Political Science. At Tulane, Ellie held leadership positions on the school newspaper, the Tulane Hullabaloo, and an undergraduate research journal, the Tulane Journal of Policy and Political Economy. She worked last summer at the Center for Political Accountability as a CPA-Zicklin Corporate Political Spending Intern.
