Strategic Communications Manager
Ellisya Lindsey joined Issue One in July 2026 as the Strategic Communications Manager, with a tailored focus on rapid response engagement, messaging efficiency, and organization-wide communications systems and processes.
Before Issue One, Ellisya worked in public relations, communications and consulting across diverse issue areas, including but not limited to academic research, tech accountability, democracy protection and climate change. She brings experience in brand asset management and refinement, systems management, media relations strategy, news tracking, and writing for varied audiences across several platforms.
Ellisya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, walking, discovering new music and spending time with loved ones.
