Adyant Patnaik
Tech Reform Intern
Adyant Patnaik (he/him) is a student at The George Washington University, majoring in Political Science and minoring in International Affairs and Sustainability. He transitioned to his role as a Tech Policy Intern after initially joining Issue One as a Strategic Operations Intern. Adyant previously worked with the Brennan Center for Justice’s Liberty and National Security Program on data privacy and government surveillance, supporting litigation that challenged federal agencies’ use of AI to target immigrant communities. Originally from the Bay Area, California, he spent his freshman year abroad in Paris and has developed a love for exploring new restaurants and cultures, a curiosity he hopes to carry with him well into his career. He is committed to a future in public interest law, fighting to protect civil liberties and keep power in check.
