Today, the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship Foundation launched the Brewer Fellowship to Unite America — a new program to support leaders in the democracy reform space — in partnership with Cultivate the Karass and supported by the Unite America Fund.
Issue One is proud to announce that our Founder and CEO Nick Penniman, as well as Nilmini Rubin, Managing Director and Co-founder of Fix the System, a project of Issue One, were selected as fellows for the program’s inaugural class in recognition for their work to strengthen American democracy and reform the political system.
This exciting opportunity is designed to support leaders’ personal and professional development; give them a space to develop and deepen relationships with other reform leaders; provide workshops and personalized coaching; enhance organizational capacity; and increase the sustainability of the nonpartisan movement.
Learn more about the Brewer Fellowship, the other fellows, and the work the program will do to support political reform here.
