Issue One mourns the passing of Common Cause’s President Karen Hobert Flynn

Issue One joins with Common Cause and all who knew and loved Karen Hobert Flynn in mourning the tragic passing of the organization’s president.

Issue One released the following statement from Founder and CEO Nick Penniman:

“Karen was a warm, inspiring leader within the democracy community and a shining example of what it means to ‘walk the talk.’ Despite her shrewd understanding of today’s destructive politics, she never lost her idealism or her faith in the power of we, the people. She will be sorely missed.”
