Issue One stands with the women of Iran

As democracy advocates, we support the women of Iran who are bravely leading mass protests to gain their freedom from a brutal authoritarian regime. We are also deeply concerned about the rollback of rights for women in the United States and other democratic countries. The 21st century should be about expanding — not retracting — rights and freedoms for all. We stand in solidarity with those leading struggles for freedom everywhere.
