Ellison Thompson

Ellison is a dedicated Maryland native committed to pursuing a career that aligns with his core values of civic engagement and democratic integrity. He is passionate about the importance of respecting and nurturing American democracy, a belief that aligns with Issue One’s mission.

With previous experience as a grants coordinator, Ellison has developed strong organizational and analytical skills, successfully recording donors/donations in Issue One’s database and managing the organization’s office. His marketing experience further enhances his ability to effectively communicate and promote meaningful projects in Issue One correspondences.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland and currently resides in Kent Island, Maryland. In his leisure time, Ellison enjoys capturing the natural beauty of Maryland through photography, often focusing on its trails, state parks, and waterways.
