In March, lawmakers passed the CARES Act to assist with the crippling effects of COVID-19 on America’s economy.
While this massive government stimulus package was an important step in helping Americans during a public health crisis, it also opened the floodgates to a lobbying frenzy by big businesses who were looking to get a piece of the pie and attempting to influence where relief funds should go.
